One of Melbourne’s most photogenic sculptures in the public realm!

Exclusively for the MAB Corporation in Melbourne; AAR and Adrian Mauriks were commissioned to create a work for the Docklands New Quay Precinct. Silence was installed in 2002 and since then, the work has been photographed for all matter of advertising and marketing collateral. The sculpture really does capture everyone’s imagination; achieving the intention of a spectacular public artwork for the enjoyment of all, day and night.

The installation comprises of 13 fibreglass resin pieces with internal stainless steel armature and finished in a UV resilient paint. The overall composition covers an area of 12m x 18m x 4.5mH.
