The World Square building in Sydney is not only home to Ernst & Young’s new Sydney headquarters but also to six Joanna Logue paintings commissioned especially for the foyer.
The series of paintings titled ‘Ambleside’ brings a distinct feel of the Blue Mountains to the busy commercial office tower foyer. Installed in 2005, the works were commissioned by developer Multiplex in conjunction with interior architects for the foyer, Archer & Wright.
Logue was selected for the commission for her ability to capture the essence of the NSW landscape.
The art of Joanna Logue features in many corporate collections across Australia, including AWB, Mann Judd, Baker & McKenzie, Barclays Bank, Burns Philip Ltd, Fluor Daniel, Mirvac, Macquarie Bank, NRMA, University of NSW, McKinsey &Co, Qantas, and Walker Corporation Ltd.
The World Square building is located at 680 George Street Sydney.
