Australian Art Resources’ Managing Director Matt Stafford last week attended the opening of Philip Prices’ amazing solo show Fulcrum at Cable Bay Vineyard on Waiheke Island, New Zealand.
This incredible show is the largest body of work to be exhibited by Philip Price, with 20 Kinetic sculptures displayed in the grounds of this stunning winery and gallery space. Philip is already well know in New Zealand, with 4 major public works throughout the Islands and is fast becoming recognized in Australia with works at McClelland Galleries and in private collections.
This exhibition was opened by Helen Clarke, the very relaxed and arts passionate Prime Minister of New Zealand and was attended by over 300 collectors.
Thanks to the dedication of John and Jo Gow, the Fulcrum works will travel from New Zealand to Australia to be exhibited in August, then onto the US and Europe. John and Jo Gow have one of the finest collections of New Zealand sculpture located at Connells Bay on Waiheke Island.
AAR has access to Philip’s work and the artist’s studio. We are about to commission a major work for the public realm in Melbourne and have interest from other public collections. Should you be interested in learning more about Philip’s work please don’t hesitate to contact AAR.
We will be adding many more exciting and leading edge Australian and International artists to our website in the near future and look forward to your feedback.
